CalFresh程序

Graduate students experiencing food insecurity may be eligible to receive government assistance through the CalFresh程序. 

Students must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

  1. Between ages 18-49
  2. Enrolled at least half-time as an 菠菜网lol正规平台 student
  3. Not on a campus meal plan with 11+ meals per week
  4. Be mentally and physically fit for work 

Additionally, students must also meet at least 一个 of the following 豁免s:

  • Work an average of 20+ hours per week
  • Have a child/dependent 12 or younger
  • Receive CalGrant A or B
  • In a Local Program that Increases Employability (LPIE)
  • Participating in Work Study

The following graduate or postgraduate programs are LPIE approved, and meet the LPIE 豁免.
